Diddy’s hand-picked group comprised of Dawn, D. Woods, Aundrea, Aubrey, and Shannon forms Danity Kane. The group’s name comes from an anime character that band member Dawn created - which I heard graphic art pays well… just in case this music thing doesn’t work out.
This group is like a bootleg smaller version of the Pussycat Dolls. Do
their weaves, powder their faces, throw some booty shorts and bikini
tops on them and you will get beautiful-no doubt- but bonified
bombshells who are going to make billions based on talent… ummm Diddy
try again (which I am sure he will). They are going to need more than
“one shot” or more than one group season of MTV’s "Making the Band" to
survive in the music world.
When listening to their album, be sure to bring a pillow along with a comforter as the group’s first attempt to “stop the show” is going to put you to sleep-slooooowwwwllly. DK’s self entitled album has tracks laced with non-believable lingo, extremely pop, mediocre singing, mixed with techno, is not going to take them to the top…or wait maybe in the 6th grade girl market. The group’s first single, “Show Stopper” is a nicely produced, snap genre, bass-filled track, but the adlibs sound like they got a cheerleader group in the most suburban neighborhood to do them. I won’t even address the other tracks because they aren’t worth my fingers hitting the keys on the laptop.
