The Roots Offer Fans "Game" Advance |

 The Roots are making their highly-anticipated release Game Theory
available to eager fans before its scheduled release date of August 29.
The set is currently available on the band's OkayPlayer.com, and
starting tomorrow (August 15) the set can also be pre-ordered through
iTunes.
At OkayPlayer.com, the first 1000 orders will also receive the limited edition J Period OFFICIAL Roots mix-tape, along with Game Theory t-shirt, stickers, and postcards. All sales go directly to the band, with orders shipping Friday, August 25th, the Friday before the release date.
Along with the set, iTunes pre-order customers get a digital bonus track called "Bread and Butter," an unlimited edition PDF poster designed by Buddy Esquire and bonus video content in the form of outtakes from a street performance by ?uestlove and Black Thought.
The mini videos were originally intended to be used for a promotional TV commercial, but were scrapped and is now available only through the iTunes pre-order.
Downloaders will also immediately get the track "Long Time" featuring Peedi Peedi and Bunny Sigler. The set comes with a digital booklet featuring liner notes, lyrics and an interview with ?uestlove originally published in The Believer.
