This week's charts sees a gaggle of new albums from both established and new artists. Bowing at No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums is the brilliant sophomore set from soulful singer/songwriter Lyfe Jennings. The Phoenix features a gritty selection of soul and hip-hop/soul along with a small number of guests including Three 6 Mafia, and follows up his critically acclaimed, platinum 2004 set Lyfe 268-192, which spent well over a year on the chart. The album also bows at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

Obie Trice bows at No. 2 on the Rap Albums tally with his sophomore album Second Round's On Me. While the set also comes in on the pop albums at No. 8 and the R&B/Hip-hop charts at No. 5, popular sentiment is that the Slim Shady colleague has been relegated to the back of the marketing burner with this release. Meanwhile, Rick Ross's Port Of Miami holds down the Rap Albums No. 1 spot for a second week.

Christina Aguilera opens at No. 2 on the R&B/Hip-hop list with the daring Back To Basics. The album also opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 where it counts as her first No. 1 album since her 1999 self-titled debut, according to Billboard. The set features the track "Ain't No Other Man," and is packaged as a double disc - one half produced by DJ Premier and paying homage to soul, jazz and blues, and one half produced by pop heavyweight Linda Perry.

Also new on the Top 10 is the debut from sister quartet Cherish. Containing a set of twins, the group's Unappreciated bows at No. 4. The lead track, "Do It To It" featuring Sean Paul Of The YoungBloodZ, has also been getting love from the charts having been featured there for 22 weeks.

Cham and his Ghetto Story bows at No. 5 on the Rap albums list and at No. 11 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The title track has been rebounding on the chart and features Alicia Keys.

Mike Watts' Pandora Box ranks as this week's official pace setter by jumping a shocking 74-40. Usually confused with the head of Houston's screw music conglomerate Swisha House CEO, Michael “5000” Watts, Mike Watts, the Philly artist also chops and screws and plays host to H-Town rappers Paul Wall and Bun B, as well as Jaguar Wright.

In the wonderful world of singles Beyonce tops this week's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs with "Deja Vu" featuring Jay-Z. Jumping 4-1, the track comes off the already-plagued set B'Day due the Fall.

Fergie's "London Bridge" continues to grip the No. 1 spot on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Pop 100 charts for a third week in a row.

Chris Brown's "Say Goodbye" ranks as the week's official leader in airplay gain, and jumps 39-32. Meanwhile Ciara also makes gains with "Get Up" featuring Chamillionaire leaping 21-7 and ranking as the Hot 100's greatest sales gainer.

"Pullin' Me Back" from Chingy featuring Tyrese is the week's new No. 1 Rap Track, rising 2-1. Also new is the controversial "Showstopper" from Danity Kane, counting as the Hot 100's top debut at No. 17.

Other new tracks this week include 's Petey Pablo's "Show Me The Money" (No. 58), The Game's "It's Okay (One Blood)" featuring Junior Reid (No. 88) and JoJo's "Too Little, Too Late" (No. 90).
