Critics be damned. Janet Jackson, aka Ms Girlfriend, is getting her breeze on, so you best stay out the way.

The
lighthearted, but sexy, 20 Y.O. is a perfect barometer of where the
youngest Jackson is in her life. At the age of 40, she's looking good,
feeling great, in love and having a blast.
There's no rocket science here, ticklish appetizer tracks
like "Show Me" bounce right along while suggestive "Get It Out Me" and
"This Body" fit right in with her decades-long exploration of her own
publicized, but still somehow mysterious, sexuality. True standouts include
chart smasher "Call On Me," breezy-but-gutter "So Excited" featuring smut queen Khia banging out a tight bar, and the pleasing
retro-Janet "Daybreak," but it's the jubilant "Enjoy" complete with a
youthful choir that accurately summarizes the keep-it-light vibe of this set.
Yeah, it sounds fluffy but hey, Jermaine Dupri's future wife obviously is not shooting for classic standard on this one. For what it is 20 Y.O. is an enjoyable set that lives up to its relax-enjoy-have-a-good-time mandate.
