Handglide aka Handspin
Difficulty rating = Intermediate Side view
1) Place your elbow between your navel and hipbone. 2) Get on the floor. 3) Lean forward and support your weight on the hand on the same arm as the elbow in step 1. 4) You should be parallel to the ground, face down and holding your entire body off the floor with that standing hand 90 degrees from your body.
5) Practice this until you can balance on this freeze position for about
10-15 seconds. 6) Now you're ready to spin. Place a plastic bag, rag, or anything to take off the friction under your standing hand. Repeat steps 1-4. Now, with your free hand, push yourself around and around on your standing hand. Top view 7) Go through steps 1-6 really fast and then start pushing gradually faster and harder. When you feel momentum, feel free to let go and do something with your free hand (i.e. hold your head, grab your leg) or stick it out to the side.
