Mariah Carey has finally broken the record long held by music legend Elvis Presley as her current single “Touch My Body” goes to No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week and becomes her 18th No.1 hit. Elvis Presley charted 17 No.1’s on the Hot 100 tally. Carey now has her sights on overcoming the Beatles who are at the top of the list with a total of 20 No.1 singles. Not only is Carey the only active recording artist in the 50 years of the chart to have this potential, it is highly likely she'll pull it off. The track is just the first single from her upcoming album E=MC², due Apr. 15.
