Justin TimberlakeWhile in Europe to promote his upcoming album, Justin Timberlake recently admitted to extensive drug use in an interview with the UK Guardian's Observer Music Monthly.

When the 25 year-old singer was asked if he'd ever aspired to be president of the United States, he gave an extremely revealing reply.

"I've done way too many drugs already,' he said. "I've already inhaled and I've already...who knows. I'm just like everyone else, I get completely plastered, I've done my fair share of drugs and I've been caught places with my pants down; it's just I make sure there are no cameras around."

But unlike some actual presidents who have inbibed, Timberlake admitted it was a mistake.

"Some drugs haven't been legalized because it will ruin the other drugs, like nicotine and tobacco,' he continued. "Nicotine is more addictive than heroin. I'll leave the preaching to the preachers - my grandfather's a preacher - but I believe you don't do anything to excess. They always say too much of a good thing could be a bad thing. I try to live my life in a well-rounded manner. We all make mistakes."

Vowing to make his next release rise above the mediocre, the ex boy band member also dissed the current music scene.

"Music's gone to such shit," he ranted. "Kids only need something for a minute. People don't make career records any more: this is an opportunity to say fuck that."

As previously reported, the Tennessee native will drop FutureSex/LoveSounds September 12. The set's ultra-funky lead track, “SexyBack,” was co-written and co-produced by Timberlake, Timbaland and Nate Hills.
