 Usually hush-hush about her love life, Janet Jackson recently had a lot to say about boyfriend Jermaine Dupri. Not only does the love of her life share a first name with one of her famous siblings, he's got Jackson singing his praises.
"Jermaine is drama-free," Jackson said at news conference on Friday. "He's a very giving person. The challenges have been all joy working with Jermaine." Jackson, whose upcoming 20 Years Old is scheduled for a September 26 release, worked with the So So Def mogul on several new tracks. Dupri as well as long time producing partners Jimmy 'Jam' Harris and Terry Lewis pitched in at the boards. Jackson has been turning heads after dropping a whopping sixty pounds to promote her album. The singer who has a home in Malibu also calls Dupri's neck of the woods, Atlanta, home, according to The Associated Press. "I always wanted to find love," she said. "Now, that I found love, I'm in a different space now." Back in October 2005, the 40 year old pop icon squashed rumors about a secret 18 year-old daughter she allegedly had from her first marriage to James DeBarge. Now she says she wants to have kids with Dupri. "I would love to have kids,' she revealed. "I never thought I would ever want any. But being with Jermaine really changed my mind on all that. I don't mind adopting." |
