Universal Pictures Miami Vice equals two hours and 26 minutes of raw
footage. If you liked the series, you will fall in love with the movie.
Director Micheal Mann and his two stars, Academy Award-winning Jamie
Foxx and Colin Farrell, have done a stellar job of recreating one of the
sexiest series of the 80's. There is seriously not one dull moment in
the movie. The movie has a great story line with Ricardo Tubbs (Foxx) and Sonny Crockett (Farrell) working undercover transporting drugs into South Florida to try and figure out several murder mysteries, but trying to conceal their real identities will be harder than ever as Sonny finds himself falling for the wife of the drug trafficker, the captivating Isabella (Gong Li). Meanwhile, covers are blown, and Ricardo is putting more than just his life on the line - he might loose his love interest in the movie, beautiful Trudy Joplin, played by Naomie Harris. This updated version of MV has everything the series had and more. From fine well-dressed men, sexy model-like women, exotic spots, heart-pumping scenes, mind-blowing action, suspense, conspiracy, drugs, fast cars, sex, money and all of this times ten. The production of the movie itself was done so beautifully that when watching the movie, you will actually feel as though you are on the set in Miami, cruising in one of the many beautiful boats in the movie or dancing on some of the hottest dance floors in the world.
Throw some Linkin Park and India Arie on the soundtrack, up and close gunfire scenes, sultry dancing, oh, and don’t forget... sexy head to thigh shower scenes including Jamie Foxx's buttocks... and you will get the hottest movie of the summer. There is no denying that movie-goers will get their bang for their buck and lots of boom too. |
