Virginia duo, The Clipse have finally come into the light, so to speak, by giving fans a definite date for the release of their long-awaited, re-worked album Hell Hath No Fury.
Set for a Halloween release (October 31) the newest from Pusha T and Malice is dark, dark, dark, according to MTV.
"It's just fitting. Halloween — let the demons loose," Malice said.
"It's a fresh album. There's no way we could use the same album; we're
in a totally different place. You can hear what we've been through.
It's good to let people in on it. It's been sitting up, and it's good
to let the cat out of the bag." "I'm not sure when we're gonna start shooting, but we're about to write it up," Push told MTV. "It's basically like [Jay-Z's film] 'Streets Is Watching'."
Ironically, Jay-Z is the target of controversy surrounding one of the
album's songs, the severely leaked "Wamp Wamp (What It Do)."
Originally, according to MTV, the track's beat was created for Foxy
Brown, but when she developed her now infamous hearing loss The Clipse
got it. However, now that Foxy's gotten corrective surgery, the duo say
Jay-Z bought/took the beat back. Source: MTV |
