Souls of Mischief return with a new album "Montezuma's Revenge", the first for nearly 10 years since The Trilogy, with production provided by Prince Paul.
The album is available digitally now, though has an 8th February 2010 physical release date in the UK.
They interrupted a recent European tour to visit London for one day for a massive media day incorporating radio, online tv and press, which culminated in a "lock out" performance at the city's Carhartt Store
The interest level was understandably high from the media though it was noticeable the full age range at the event itself, suggesting that the love for traditional hip hop is still very much alive & kicking, and in fact has a much wider appeal than is always suggested by the top line media outlets.
Their first single Proper Aim has an accompanying video, and has been receiving massive support in the UK. There has already been extensive online media coverage, with the single to be Record of the Week in DJ Magazine come January, and a feature in MOJO lined up.
A new European tour is being put together, aimed at around spring which should take in more UK venue dates this time around. You can check the single & video out at www.myspace.com/urbanelitepr and keep up to date on regular progress at www.twitter.com/urbanelitepr
