Eminem And 50 Cent Announce Tour Dates   Print
Monday, 04 April 2005

hip hop newsEminem and 50 Cent have confirmed details of their co-headlining tour set to begin in July.

As previously reported, the two mega-acts will join with other artists for the Anger Management 3 tour. Joining them will be Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz, G-Unit, D-12, Obie Trice and Status Quo, with Ludacris standing in for 50 Cent on the first two dates while the latter works on his as-yet-untitled film debut.

The 24-date run, which kicks off
July 7 outside Indianapolis, will play mostly amphitheaters and a few arenas, including an August 8-9 date at New York's Madison Square Garden, before closing on August 12-13 in Eminem's hometown of Detroit.

"We've been waiting for the right moment to go on tour, and it all finally came together," Eminem stated. "We wanted to put together the best lineup we could. I'm always trying to top the last tour whenever I go out. I think we're really doing it this time."

The tour will also be covered by Eminem's Shade 45 channel on Sirius Satellite Radio through exclusive coverage of live performances and interviews. A DVD featuring Eminem's 2002 Anger Management tour with D-12 will drop in the Summer.
