Jay-Z Gets 'Man of the Millennium' Award

Jay-Z has been named "Man of the Millennium" by New York's Power 105.1 (WWPR-FM) and will be granted with an award at the upcoming Power Music Summit Saturday, April 16th at the Manhattan Center's Grand Ballroom.
The Clear Channel station is giving him the "Man of the Millennium Award" for his contributions to the hip-hop community and his charitable work.
The Power Music Summit is a one day event that gives business executives, aspiring label entrepreneurs, song writers, producers, and artists a chance to discuss the ins and outs of the business.
Speakers include Jermaine Dupri (President of Urban Music at Virgin Records), Blue Williams (President of Family Tree Entertainment), Bryan Leach (TVT Records/Vice President of A&R), Chris Lighty (CEO of Violator Mgmt/Records), Irv Gotti (CEO of The Inc. Records), Jim Jones (Artist), and many more. Power 105.1's Ed Lover and Egypt will serve as hosts for the event.
The various speakers will share their personal accounts of how they got their big breaks, the ups and downs of the business and share tips.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to drop demos or resumes in a box that will be sent directly to each panelist. DAT/CD/TAPE are welcomed.
