hiphoprnbsoul rating: The soundtrack to 50 Cent's autobiographical flick chugs commercially along powered by signature slick beats and and an overflow of appearances by G-Unit members Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks (on the club banger "Get Low"), Young Buck, and Olivia whose talents are woefully wasted on the abysmal "We Both Think Alike."
"Hustler's Ambition" has that sweet hook you expect from Fiddy, while the trash-talkin' "I'll Whip Ya Head Boy" glides along a dramatic horn-driven track. But despite the surprise of unlikely dancefloor heads Mobb Deep (paired with Nate Dogg on the retro "Have A Party"), "Window Shopper" and the rest of the album's obligatory filler just doesn't have what it takes to live up to chart heat laid down by previous 50's 2003 album of the same title. - Ifè Oshun
